Islamic Moments – Islamic stationery & more. A classic brand out of the UK specializing in quality, beautiful Islamic stationery. But they didn’t stop there. They added mugs, journals, decor and an entire kid’s area.

Islamic Moments has the largest collection of Islamic cards and stationery in the UK. Mashallah! And you could call them the OG’s, starting in 2004. They are still as relevant with such beautiful designs. Let’s take a look!

Decor & Cards

Let’s jump into their laser cut hanging ornaments. They make great wall decor, or could be hung from the fireplace – really anywhere. And the cobalt blue gold foiled greeting card makes for a beautiful pop of color. And speaking of the cards…

These greeting cards are luxurious and elevated. You can tell from the touch and weight that they are high quality. And an envelope is included with each card. The burgundy gold foiled greeting card says ‘Ramadan Mubarak’. You can also see the olive colored Eid Mubarak card in English and Arabic. And the black gold foiled Eid Mubarak card. And of course we can’t forget the Ramadan reflections journal. It’s the perfect lightweight journal to keep during Ramadan.

Colorful Eid Cards & White Decor

This set of six Eid Mubarak cards are super playful while being minimalist with hints of color. I love that you can pick the entire set up, including the envelopes, and be ready to distribute your Eid wishes to everyone!

Let’s talk about the cute little lantern bunting set. It’s the perfect little touch for any small space. And all you have to do is place the string through the lanterns and you’re set.

If we take a closer look we see another simplistic and lightweight Bismillah journal. It’s a blank journal ready for your every thoughts, musings, or whatever you chose.

And how about those cute hanging star, moon & arched decorations? They come in a set of three, and because they’re on a translucent fishing wire they look so seamless hanging, well anywhere.

White Eid Station

Eid Mubarak banners always comes in handy when decorating. And I love their Eid Mubarak hexagon bunting. It’s simple, but with a punch of color.

And let’s talk about the powder blue gold foiled Eid Mubarak card. I love the color and elegance of it. And that playful lantern card is a set of five color-in greeting cards that you can color in!

I also adore this Arabic arch lantern. It can be hung, or leaned against objects as decor. And of course, I included our favorite Bismillah and Ramadan reflections journals. Along with the one of my favorite cards from the set of six Eid Mubarak cards.

Ramadan Decor

We created a festive rose gold Ramadan decor look featuring a basic black and white palette with highlights of rose gold, and of course, a pop of green elements. Included those natural elements always elevates a look – even if they’re faux.

Let’s start with the rose gold Ramadan foil balloons. We love that it’s all connected and small enough to be included in any decor. Just blow it up, run a few strings through and you’re good to go! And since we’re talking about balloons. We’re loving the 12 pack of white and rose gold balloons, as are the kids!

Now let’s take a closer look. We took their cooper moons & star food servings tins and placed them upright as decor! You have to think outside of the box sometimes when it comes to decor. They look just fantastic.

Lastly, their fantastic lanterns. They have a massive selection of all sizes and styles of lanterns. We opted to combine their smaller tea light lantern with a taller brass lantern.

A Little Dose of Pink

A simple, pastel look for this Ramadan decor. To cut up the fireplace and it’s large tiles, we hung the Ramadan Mubarak banner. And sprinkled some of the 12 pack of white and rose gold balloons on the floor. And we took one of their large Eid Mubarak gift sacks to cap off the look. It’s so smart to have a handful of these burlap bags around to wrap those hard-to-wrap-gifts. Not only does it look good, but it’s so practical.

Let’s talk about these fantastic two pack of rose gold crescent moon foil balloons. They make quite a quick and easy statement for your Ramadan or Eid decor. We coupled that with our mirror and faux garland. And of course, we sprinkled those fantastic lanterns over here as well: smaller tea light lantern with a taller brass lantern.

Lastly, we hung some of our favorite, versatile geometric wooden hanging lanterns. They come in a variety of colors and designs, and can seriously be used in so many different ways.

Eid Decor

Doesn’t this just make you so excited for Eid?! Golds, balloons and gifts! On top of the Eid Party decor, we’ve added our mirror, faux garlands, and battery-operated lights to fill out the large mantel.

We have to have an advent calendar for the kids like this lightweight, rustic/shabby chic advent calendar. And of course added the white balloons out of the 12 pack of white and rose gold balloons.

And this fantastic, simple but large Eid Mubarak pennant bunting really ties everything together. On the mantel we added the smaller tea light lantern with a taller brass lantern. And hanging underneath are the super versatile geometric wooden hanging lanterns.

And of course you need your gift bags for the gifts! We love all the options they have, but we opted for the extra large felt patterned gift sack & the  Eid Mubarak gift sack.

Gift Boxes

Speaking of gifts! Eid Party has a ton of gift boxes. So cute, and so practical. They store flat, can be reused and are easy to put together! Plus you can leave them out all Ramadan because they’re so nice.

Let’s take a closer look at them. The brown ‘Eid Mubarak’ gift favor boxes, in a 6 or 12 pack are just adorable. The the taller, white ‘Eid’ Gift & treat celebration crackers in a 6 or 12 pack are super festive.

A Chic Wall Shelf with Purpose: Formr. I believe the future is purchasing well designed, beautiful home décor items with purpose. A way of helping others and that’s what Formr is doing. Which is why I adore their wall shelf that’s now hanging in my entry way. This is a sponsored post, but all opinions are my own.

A little bit about Formr. They create thoughtfully designed objects that reincarnate construction debris, and empower formerly incarcerated folks with opportunities. It’s good design, doing good. The wall shelf I opted for was the 18″ wall mounted, with 2 hook and in the color dark orange. You know I love orange and I just fell in love with this color. But if dark orange isn’t your thing, it comes in a variety of six other colors like teal and off-white.

The wall shelf is packaged so well. Here it is out of the box. And what’s so great, is it comes with hardware. Making it a great gift – your friend will have everything they need to get it hung up immediately!

Hanging it is simple. You’re just going to hammer in the wall anchors, then screw the screws in, and hang the shelf on the back hooks. Here that is for reference. I appreciate those little felt circles that keep the wall shelf from hitting the wall.

I decided my entry way looked sad and I don’t have room for anything on the floor, so a small wall shelf was the best solution. Time to hang something that looked good and was useful. Here’s the wall before.

And here is the after of the wall. Now, it’s a great spot to drop mail, keys, face masks, wallets, you name it. And it’s not only cool, but functional.

To get an idea of the size, here is a side photo of the shelf. It’s a thin shelf, so it’s great for small spaces where you can’t have a deep shelf sticking out. And adding a plant, whether it’s fake or real always adds that extra touch you need in your design.

Because my entry way is also a walkway, it’s helpful to have that thin shelf. Especially because of the kids running around, I don’t need anyone knocking anything down!

I was just minding my business walking around Daiso when I came upon these bookends. And I thought, I love the shape of these but the color is drab and the word ‘Nature’ on it is just plain dumb. So I was like. I can paint these! Enter the Daiso DIY bookends, a cute little fall home decor DIY.

Before we jump into it. I will say, yes, it is easy. But it does take time. You know, paint, waiting, painting, waiting. We’ve got three different colors that overlap so that’ll happen. And if you’re into the design and colors. Why not paint a tray too?! Here’s my DIY fall color block tray. I obviously have a type.

But Sara, how much were the bookends? They were $1.50 each, so that’s $3. Sign me up y’all. I did end up buying three new paints for $2.49, $2.49 and .99 cents each. That’s a total of $8.97. Pretty good for some custom bookends! Here they are bare.

I was very inspired by Modern Eid’s new Luna product. So I took that idea when painting the bookends and worked up a very fancy mock up. I’m so good at drawing! 

Let’s get into it. Sand the bookends lightly, 220 grit, no need to go crazy here. Just make sure it’s smooth and maybe to get a little bit of that silly ‘Nature’ name off. After that, wipe it clean with water.

Next up, put down one layer of the white color. Just one. To coat the bookends, we’ll finish the white part later.

Next up, let’s do the maroon layer. You’re going to take your blue painter’s tape and place it at an angle about half way on the bookends. It’s kind of up to you on how much of a slant you’d like. For one bookend you start high up on the left and angle downward. And if you’re doing two of them you’re going to start high up on the right and angle downward.

Once you’ve placed the blue tape, paint the maroon below the blue tape. Let that dry. Paint the second coat. Dry. And a third coat, then dry.

Take the blue tape off – slowly. And now it’s time to finish the white paint. So place the blue tape on top of the maroon paint edge. Paint one layer of white. Let it dry. Then one last layer of of white and let it dry.

This one is a freehand draw. Which, quite frankly, I’m horrible at. So on one bookend, you’ll start about one-third of the way up on the right of the bookend, curve down to the left, drawing a semi circle and ending about an inch from the bottom. Honestly, it’s better to look at the video. And if you’re doing the other bookend, you’ll start that semi circle on the left side of the bookend.

So let the first coat dry. Then apply a second coat. Dry. Then a third coat, dry. Do you notice the word ‘Nature’ now? Not really huh? And when you back up from the bookends, you absolutely cannot see the word.

Listen. If these Daiso DIY bookends took you a week to do – join the club. Between the drying, kids and life, that’s fine. You did it and it looks freaking awesome. Good job!

So if you put the bookends together, here’s what they’ll look like. Now listen. My intention is not to keep them together so it doesn’t perfectly align but it’s pretty well matched. And they almost look like a heart from far away.

Honestly, I love the them apart. I just think they look so cool. I’m happy. I think you’ll be happy too.

Daiso DIY bookends

Supplies

• Two Daiso bookends
• Foam paint brush 
• White acrylic paint – Martha Stewart, satin, summer linen
• Orange acrylic paint – Martha Stewart, satin, jack-o-lantern
• Maroon acrylic paint – Craft Smart, satin, french wine
• Sand paper – 220 grit
• Blue painters tape

Instructions

1. Lightly sand the bookends. 
2. Wipe down with a wet cloth. Let dry.
3. Paint both bookends white, just a rough layer. Let dry fully.
4. Take your blue painter’s tape and place it at an angle, going downward, about half way on the bookends. For one bookend you start high up on the left and angle downward. And if you’re doing two of them you’re going to start high up on the right and angle downward.
5. Paint maroon below the tape. Let dry fully.
6. Apply a second coat of maroon paint. Let dry fully.
7. Apply third coat of maroon paint. Let dry fully.
8. Take blue tape off.
9. Place the blue tape on top of the maroon paint edge.
10. Paint one layer of white. Let it dry.
11. Apply one last layer of of white and let it dry.
12. Take the blue tape off.
13. Free hand draw the orange semi circle. Start about one-third of the way up on the right of the bookend, curve down to the left, drawing a semi circle and ending about an inch from the bottom. And if you’re doing the other bookend, you’ll start that semi circle on the left side of the bookend. Let dry fully.
14. Apply a second coat of orange paint. Let dry fully.
15. Apply third coat of orange paint. Let dry fully.
16. Now go decorate your home!

Let’s talk non alcoholic drinks! I’m covering drinks from non alcoholic wines, non alcoholic spirits and mocktails. Because sodas, juices and sparkling water just don’t excite me all the time.

A head’s up, I haven’t tasted everything listed below. I am only one person. But I will keep drinking, for you, and keep you posted on my IG account. There is a halal wine highlight there already with some items I’ve had.

You already know I love washi tape from my other blog posts: Washi tape Ramadan lanterns and Ramadan washi tape frames. So when I was gifted these washi tapes from The Write Aesthetic, I was quite excited! But instead of slapping it on the wall, I decided to recover a book: Eid DIY washi tape book cover.

And I love decorating with books so why not customize a book to match my decor for Eid? Books just add a little something to the decor – every time. But before we jump into it. Can we please talk about these Eid washi tapes from The Write Aesthetic?! I picked out these tapes, but she has even more!

And just in case you wanted another Eid craft. You can learn how to do the DIY Eid wood garland you see in the photo. If you head over to the Ramadan & Eid section on the blog you’ll see plenty more crafts and printables.

Let’s get started! Here’s the book I decided to cover up. The first thing you need to do is clean the book with a little wet rag. Let dry fully.

Before you start taping, you’ll need to determine the angle you’d like to put the washi tape. Once that’s done you’re going to start on the upper right hand corner.

Place the tape over the corner at the angle you want. Trim the tape but make sure you leave enough where it can be folded over the sides.

Place the tape down, trim with scissors and fold the access around the edges.

Now figure out the pattern you’d like to do on the book. Place the second strip to reflect that pattern. Maybe it’s all exactly in a row or every other, or completely random. Keep repeating that pattern till you reach the bottom left corner.

I obviously didn’t follow a pattern, I just did it. Which also works but it’s not as clean.

When you reach the corner ready to do the last strip, you’ll need a small strip. I just decided to take a left over scrap from the trimming and used that.

Now press down all over the book to make sure the tape is adhering. Here it is!

As you can see the washi tape isn’t completely solid so you might see the base of the book peek through. But If you’re decorating with the book this shouldn’t be an issue.

The bind also looks pretty cool too. You could do a few books and display just the binds.

And while I was at it. I decided to cover the little succulent pot in both of the remaining washi tapes. So that you have something to look when you’re at eye level. Here’s the desert washi tape.

And the Eid Mubarak tape on the pot.

Eid DIY Washi Tape Books Directions

Supplies

• Washi Tape
• Book
• Scissors

Instruction

1. Clean the book with a little wet rag. Let dry fully.

I know Eid Al Adha is insanely different this year, so I thought decorating for it is going to look different. That’s why I wanted an easy and beautifully simple Eid printable – Hello Eid print. For more printables, head to my company, Eid Collective – the headquarters for all things Ramadan & Eid!

Here is the Eid print:

The print itself is designed for a standard piece of paper – 8.5″ x 11″. Printing it up on white card stock is preferred! It’ll look nicer and have a higher quality. I highly recommend having card stock all the time. It’s so helpful to have around the house.

I use it in a bunch of different projects. Like my other free Ramadan & Eid printables: Ramadan moon & star decor printable and these printable Eid gift tags.

Which means it’ll look great in a 8″ x 10″ frame or a larger 11″ x 14″ matted frame with an 8″x 10″ opening, – like the one below.

But I wanted the free Eid ul Adha printable to be versatile. So what if you don’t have a larger frame? Well it’ll fit in a smaller 5″ x 7″ frame too! All you’ll need to do is trim it down to size.

Here it is in a 5″ x 7″ frame. This frame is similar to the one pictured below.

Which means you can color in the pattern, or print it up on colored cad stock paper like I did below. Then you just tape it to the wrapping paper and you’ve got a fun gift wrap!

Place cards

These started out as Ramadan DIY place cards for your iftar table. So naturally I was like, what else can we do with these?

So I turned them into gift tags. Since you’ve already made them, all that you need to do now is punch a hole in the card, string some ribbon through it and you’re set.

Confetti

This confetti is from my favorite moon and star craft punches that I used from my DIY Ramadan paper bag luminaries. I loved the leftovers so much I use the Ramadan confetti all over the place like decor throughout the house.

And since I made so much, why not glue the confetti to a present? You can do so many different colors and patterns. And all you need to do is use a glue stick and glue the confetti on!

Crayons

These are from the DIY Ramadan Craft: Ramadan moons & star crayons blog post. It’s a fun kid’s craft that we love to do together. And so I thought why not wrap a kid’s gift and give them crayons too! What little kid wouldn’t love to a a gift within a gift?!

So I took some washi tape and secured the crayons to the gift for a fun gift for the kiddos.

My printable gift tags

There are a ton of cute gift tags out there but I thought funny ones would be, well fun during these insane times. You can print them up my printable Eid gift tags here.

You have two options, tape the gift tags directly to the gift, or hole punch them and run some string to them. They look great both ways! And the cheeky little sayings on the gift tags will make everyone smile.

There are a ton of gorgeous Eid gift tags out there. Like on my Where to Shop for Ramadan & Eid Decor Online List. But I wanted to add something fun to the mix with my printable Eid gift tags.

There are a total of eight gift tags. And these silly little, funny tags just kind of round out your Eid presents.

The gift tags are broken down into two sheets, four per. Here’s what’s on each tag:

Sheet One Tags:

• May your breath be fresh
• Is it breakfast yet?
• Get your Eid on
• Time to eat all the things

Sheet Two Tags:

• Enjoy your coffee
• Who’s ready for breakfast?
• Let’s warm up the chai
• Gift time!

I recommend printing the tags on white card stock. After that you’re just going to cut the tags. If you want to thread string through them, take your hole punch and pop in a hole.

You could also just tape the gift tags to the present without putting a hole in them, customize them yourself!
